At this point, it’s no secret that this city is famous for its waters. The thing is, its green side is often overlooked. Vichy has even been awarded for its greenery! Did you know that one-sixth of the city is covered in lush vegetation? You’ve been walking in it for some minutes now. Introducing the Allier Parks, two immense 23-hectare parks created by Napoleon III between 1862 and 1865. Inspired by English gardens, they are home to 800 trees and a vast array of exotic plants, all lovingly cared for by a team of 75 people. With such stunning surroundings, the hardest part is deciding what to do: relax, explore, exercise or all at once!
