In front of you is a beautiful view of Salzburg’s iconic riverside houses lining the Salzach River. Their soft pastel tones brighten the riverbanks and give the city its unmistakable charm. From here, you also have a stunning view of Hohensalzburg Fortress, standing proudly on its hill and overlooking the city.
Straight ahead, you’ll spot the distinctive tower of the Old City Hall, and just to the right, the impressive dome of the Kollegienkirche. To the left, the twin towers of the cathedral and the tower of the Franciscan Church complete the skyline. It’s a perfect snapshot of Salzburg’s rich architectural heritage, with the Salzach shimmering in the foreground.
