This point of interest is available as audio on the tour: Visit Saint-Malo, All hands on deck !
Here we have the lovely building with its impressive glass dome and metal framework known as the “Halle au Blé,” or the Wheat Covered Market. Constructed in 1822 and later expanded, it initially served as a marketplace for meat, butter, and poultry. Nowadays, it’s a delightful local market that also hosts temporary exhibitions.
