Behind each statue hides a story, and this one will most definitely catch your attention. If, during your visit, you haven’t yet encountered or heard of Franz Kafka, then that’s about to change. At the top of this statue stands the world-renowned writer, standing 3.75 meters high. Known for his 20th-century works that blend both absurdity and realism, they are still studied worldwide even after his passing. Unveiled in 2003, this statue was sculpted by Jaroslav Róna, who inspired himself of Kafka’s first published book, Description of a Struggle.
