You now find yourself in front of a replica of the famous statue of Liberty. For sure it is a replica, but it’s not a fake one ! Indeed, it was signed by Bartholdi, the artist behind the actual Statue of Liberty. After Paris, Colmar, Tokyo, Nice holds the last replica. All these “original” replicas exist as the artist proceeded in stages, creating increasingly larger models before being able to offer this icon of freedom, standing 46 meters tall, to the United States.. In front of you lies one of the first versions of Lady Liberty.
