You arrive on Courthouse Square. This plaza was built in 1892 on the site of the old Dominican convent, and is overlooked by the imposing Courthouse. Right next to it you’ll see the “Oulivier” an artwork by artist Laurent Bosio which was inaugurated in 2021. It is a steel olive tree on its concrete pedestal, symbolizing peace through the most characteristic tree of the South of France. If you come on a Saturday, chances are that you will come across a market between 8am and 6pm. Each Saturday of any given month hosts a different type of market. Yon the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month, you will find the very interesting painters and artists market. And on the 2nd Saturday of the month it’sThe old book market. Finally on the 4th Saturday, you will find the vintage postcard market.
