Ce point d’intérêt est disponible en audio dans le circuit: Visit New York, The Towers of Wall Street
Hudson River Park is a rather unusual park, stretching along the river from the Upper East Side all the way to Battery Park, at the southern tip of Manhattan. It spans 550 hectares and includes a dozen or so piers that have been turned into fantastic spaces for everyone to enjoy. You’re now standing on Pier 26, recently revamped to give people a glimpse into what the Hudson River landscape used to look like. It’s all about river ecology, showing off the different habitats that once thrived on Manhattan Island. Think wooded forests, coastal grasslands, even maritime thickets and rocky tidal areas – you can see them all here. And on top of that, there are spaces to play and relax, all with a great view of the Hudson River and the Jersey City skyline across the river. So whether you’re into sports, a leisurely stroll, or just chilling out, you’re bound to enjoy yourself in Hudson River Park; it offers a wide range of activities along the river banks. In fact, it’s the second biggest park in New York after Central Park!
