Four fountain square

This point of interest is available as audio on the tour: Visit Narbonne, City of Wind and Sun
We’re now in the Bourg district, on the right bank of the Canal de la Robine, which runs through the heart of Narbonne and splits the city in two. Quieter than the historic centre, this medieval neighbourhood still has plenty to offer, with beautiful façades and monuments well worth a look. Its churches, old houses, and narrow streets create a lovely setting for a stroll through what was once the bustling hub of local craftsmen and merchants. In the square here, you’ll notice a fountain with four spouts—that’s actually where the square gets its name. It’s a charming little spot, and just one of the many that give this district its unique character!
