The Green Line

Ce point d’intérêt est disponible en audio dans le circuit: Visit Nantes, The City of the Dukes
Let’s take a moment to follow the green line, which you’re sure to have spotted several times during your visit. Because Nantes has so many hidden gems to discover the city council has made your life easier by tracing a 12 km green line on the ground, taking you to every corner of the city in search of its old and more recent heritage. This permanent trail allows you to discover 67 historic sites and various works of art. Also, every year, usually from July to September, the ” Travel to Nantes ” event adds many temporary installations to the green line itinerary. You’ll need at least 2 full days – 3 if you’ve got the time – to enjoy the Green Line to its full extent. Should you intend to visit several paying sites, do find out more about the “Pass Nantes” on the official Travel to Nantes website or at the tourist office. This pass is available for durations that range from 24h to 7 days, and offers packages that grant you unlimited access to public transport, airport shuttles and park-and-ride facilities. And it doesn stop there! It also gives access to bike and kayak hire, cruises on the Erdre and Loire rivers, and access to the main museums on the route, as well as many of the city’s must-see sites and other themed tours. For now, let’s follow the famous green line to the former Feydeau island a few metres away from here.
