View of the island and the New Temple

This point of interest is available as audio on the tour: Visit Metz, 3000 years of history
You’re crossing the Moyen Bridge, without which you wouldn’t have access to the superb postcard view of Metz. This bridge, built over 700 years ago, now has only one of its original arches remaining. As you may have noticed, water is an inseparable natural element of the city, which is built on several islands separated by the arms of the Moselle and the Seille rivers. From here, you have a perfect angle of view of the New Temple and its love garden.
