The gardens bear his name because they were built on the site of the former royal stables, which were designed by Sabatini, the Italian architect in charge of royal works. Their classical layout features fountains, statues, and neatly trimmed paths, offering a peaceful stroll and a stunning view of the Royal Palace’s northern façade.
