CROSBY BEACH
If you’ve still got a day to spare and feel like getting out of the city, why not take a trip to the beach? I know, when you think of England, beach might not be the first thing that comes to mind. But less than 30 minutes north of Liverpool lies Crosby Beach, a vast stretch of coastline where locals walk their dogs and you can breathe in some fresh sea air along this wild expanse. You’ll also find 100 iron men statues gazing out at the horizon. It’s Antony Gormley’s artwork titled “Another Place.”
