Santa Luzia Viewpoint

Now look at this view! Even though it’s a bit off the beaten path, this place is well-known among tourists, who come here to enjoy the beautiful panoramic views of the old town, the Alfama district and the Tagus River. On the little square near the viewpoint, there’s a wall covered in azulejos that show what Commerce Plaza looked like before the earthquake and the attack on St George’s Castle. It’s a popular spot for both visitors and locals, who actually find it pretty romantic!
