Court House

Ce point d’intérêt est disponible en audio dans le circuit: Visit La Rochelle, The White City
Listed as a Historic Monument, the Courthouse has a beautiful Corinthian-style façade in the Palace Street. The six columns supporting the building are particularly impressive. Raise your eyes to the sky to see the magnificent ornaments and sculpted friezes at the top of the building. The building was rebuilt in the 18th century to replace the old Courthouse built by Henry IV. It blends in perfectly with the street thanks to the arcades in front of the entrance supporting the building.
