The Cricoteka

This point of interest is available as audio on the tour: Visit Krakow, The Jewish Quarter
The unusual building you see on your left is the Cricoteka, one of Kraków’s leading cultural centres. Housed in a former power station, this contemporary art museum is dedicated to the life and work of the avant-garde Polish theatre director Tadeusz Kantor. If you’re a fan of his, it’s worth stepping inside to explore his artistic legacy and philosophy through exhibitions, performances, workshops, and talks. While you’re there, don’t miss the café on the top floor, which offers a panoramic view over the city.
