On your left, you’ll see a path that leads into the heart of Sainte-Claire Park. This botanical garden covers an impressive 6,500 square metres and was designed in the 1930s by Edith Wharton, the celebrated American novelist.
Now officially recognised as a Remarkable Garden, it’s home to rare plant species brought in from South America and Australia, offering a little botanical journey across the globe. It’s a peaceful, picturesque spot, perfect for a stroll through the hills above Hyères.
Far from the hustle and bustle of the city, it’s an ideal place to unwind and soak up the calm of nature. Take your time exploring the gardens once imagined by one of the greatest writers of her time!
