Flower Clock

This point of interest is available as audio on the tour: Visit Geneva, The Little Big Capital
Here it is—one of the most famous clocks in the world!
Second only to the Jet d’Eau as a symbol of Geneva, the Flower Clock is a true technical and artistic marvel. Created in 1955 as a tribute to the city’s long-standing watchmaking tradition, it’s made up of more than 12,000 carefully arranged plants and blooms, and tells the exact time thanks to a satellite connection.
Redesigned up to five times a year to match the rhythm of the seasons, this living work of art reflects nature’s changing palette while showcasing Swiss precision at its finest. Nestled in the English Garden, it has earned international fame not only for its ever-evolving floral patterns but also for boasting the world’s longest second hand—an impressive 2.5 meters—silently sweeping across its colorful dial.
A must-see for visitors and a poetic tribute to Geneva’s horological soul.
