You’re standing on the small Colonel Fabien Square, facing the row of colourful façades that make up the Cour Perrinon shopping centre. If you’re in the mood for a bit of shopping, this is the place to go. With 35 stores offering major international brands, as well as cafés, terraces, and restaurants spread over two levels, Cour Perrinon has something for everyone. Opened in 2008, the centre was designed by architect Aydin Guvan. The top two floors are home to several institutions, including the District Court, the Fort-de-France Urban Development Agency, and a psychological health centre. Fully air-conditioned and always bustling, Cour Perrinon has become a central part of daily life for locals in Fort-de-France.
