San Firenze Square and San Filippo Neri Church

This point of interest is available as audio on the tour: Visit Florence, A world of art
The building on San Firenze Square used to be a convent, and now serves as a courthouse. Built in the 16th century, the Baroque-style façade was added a century later – a rare sight in Florence’s historic centre. If you step inside, you’ll find the San Filippo Neri Church, an example of Roman Baroque architecture. You’ll be immersed in Florentine art through the church’s sculptures, frescoes, and paintings.
