Welcome to the lovely Saint-Mauris Garden, marking the entrance to the historic center of Dole. It was laid out in the 18th century, on the site of the old city walls, demolished in the 17th century. It’s a beautiful English garden, created to open up the old medieval city, and give its people a beautiful place to stroll in nature. It is listed as a Remarkable Garden by the French Ministry of Culture and it’s home to a fountain, a cave, a waterfall and a number of ponds.
