Chevannes Garden

This point of interest is available as audio on the tour: Visit Dole, The birthplace of Louis Pasteur
Welcome to the charming Chevannes Garden. Laid out in 1998 on the site of the town’s old ramparts, it’s perfect for a leisurely stroll in the historic heart of the town. Part of the garden is home to beautiful trees like sequoias and tulip trees, while another part reveals several plant families, in what can only be described as a sensory garden. Here, you’ll find a selection of medicinal plants among other things. This green space is nestled between the Dole Port and the Canal des Tanneurs, the Tanner’s Canal, right in the heart of the town.
