Former Saint-Philibert church

Ce point d’intérêt est disponible en audio dans le circuit: Visit Dijon, Capital of Burgundy
Built in the 12th century after the great 1137 fire, Saint-Philibert is the only Romanesque church in Dijon. It was once dedicated to the winegrowers who lived in the area. Abandoned during the French Revolution, it was used for many years as a stable, warehouse and shop, before being closed to the public in 1979 for safety reasons. Renovated by the local council in recent years, it is now once again open to the public and regularly hosts exhibitions. It has been listed as a Historic Monument since 1862.
