Don’t miss the 17th-century pharmacy, or the stunning oak roof structure dating back to the 13th century—one of the oldest and most impressive of its kind in Europe. This is where healing meets culture—and the chapel highlights this connection beautifully. Built in 1820, it was later transformed into a museum dedicated to Hans Memling. The art lovers among you can discover six works by this celebrated Early Netherlandish painter found right here. Legend has it that a few of them were even created just next door. !This is another reminder that Bruges’ artistic spirit isn’t tucked away—it’s everywhere.
