Provençal Market

In front of you lays one of the most iconic markets in all of Provence! It’s open every morning from Tuesday to Sunday, if you happen to be here on a day whaere it’s closed, there’s probably a good chance you can come back when it is open! This covered market is a celebration of everything the Provençal terroir has to offer. Around 50 stalls showcase a vibrant mix of fresh produce: fruits, vegetables, cheeses, cured meats from the nearby mountains, seafood, flowers, and all sorts of non-food items. You’ll find all the classic flavors of Provence—perfect for a delicious lunch break or to pick up a few tasty souvenirs. Among the local specialties you might come across in Antibes are bouillabaisse, Provençal stew, pissaladière, pan bagnat, pistou soup, and of course the famous tapenade, a true star of Provençal cuisine. You’ll also be tempted by freshly caught fish, colorful spices, fragrant olive oils, and sweet local treats like Swiss chard pie or panisses.
