Description: If there are any history buffs among our readers, you should know exactly what we’re talking about by reading the title. The Battle of Dunkirk broke out during the events of the Second World War. The evacuation of the town, more commonly known as “Operation Dynamo”, took place between 26 May 1940 and the early hours of 3 June. It is always important to keep a record of past events, as a reminder to honour the memory of the victims. The visit lasts around 2 hours, and you’ll discover how Dunkirk, a martyred city following the bombardments, became a symbol of hope in the eyes of the whole world.
