Top 5 things to do in Dubai

act1 dubai (1)

When you think of Dubai, the first thing that springs to mind is luxury. The best-known city in the United Arab Emirates, Dubai has become a veritable tourist destination. Its rise is not as recent as all that. It was only in the second half of the 20th century that Dubai took on a new dimension. A number of tourism projects blossomed in record time, enabling Dubai to become a tourist paradise with global influence. These included the Burj-al-Arab hotel, considered a seven-star hotel by many journalists because of its prestige. Of course, Dubai is also home to the world’s tallest tower, the Burj Khalifa, inaugurated in 2008 and standing 828 metres high – more than 2.5 Eiffel Towers, no less.

1- Do several activities on a trip to the Dubai desert

Category : Unusual /Sensations / Sporty

Description: This activity is a must when you visit Dubai. It is without doubt one of the only places in the world to offer this type of activity at a very attractive price. For 4 hours (or 7 hours, depending on the package you choose) you’ll be taken into the red sand desert to take part in a range of activities. These include rallying on the desert dunes, which offer an exceptional setting for this kind of activity. Here, the sand acts as snow, and just like in the mountains, you can snowboard. In Dubai, however, it’s called sandboarding. After a good workout, you can relax a little by taking a camel ride through the desert. At the end, you’ll be offered a snack featuring local products such as Arabic tea or coffee with dates.

2- Admire the most beautiful view in Dubai

Category : Unusual

Description: It’s obvious that the best view in Dubai is from the gigantic Burj Khalifa tower, 828 metres high. To get there, head to the foot of the tower and take what is, by the way, the fastest lift in the world. However, if you want to get up to the 124th floor, you’ll need a good lift. Once you reach the 124th floor, all you have to do is contemplate the extraordinary view over the whole of Dubai. And for even more thrills, you can go up to 125 for a 360-degree view of the city. To enjoy your visit even more, it’s best to go there at sunrise. That’s when there are fewer people, so you’ll get to the lift more quickly.

3- Discover Dubai on a jet ski

Category: Unusual / Sensations

Description: Unsurprisingly, jet skiing is a popular activity in Dubai. As well as having a great time in the water, it’s an opportunity to discover Dubai from a new angle. During your time in the water, you’ll pass several of Dubai’s most famous landmarks, including the Burj-al-Arab hotel, the most prestigious hotel in existence. Whatever your level, this activity is accessible to everyone. After navigating Dubai’s turquoise waters, you’ll be treated to an ice cream at the Lumière Café, where you can chat about what you’ve just experienced.

4- Discover the museum of the future

Category : Cultural

Description: During your stay in Dubai, you won’t want to miss this building with its more than surprising architecture. Opened in 2022, this torus-shaped museum is dedicated to innovative, scientific and futuristic approaches. Unlike a traditional museum, where you see traces of the past, this is a journey into the future.

5- Stroll through the Garden of Miracles

Category : Cultural

Description: This activity is perfect for spending quality time with the family. This is the largest natural flower garden in the world, with almost 150 million flowers. The garden covers more than 72,000 m². As you stroll through the garden, you’ll be amazed by the many different smells. There are also a number of exhibitions in this unique setting, including the Smurfs village, an Airbus A380 covered entirely in flowers, and much more!
