Top 3 events in Rennes
Most of the major events in Rennes are festivals, fairs and exhibitions. Which is good news if you enjoy themed highlights or meeting people with your own interests.
However, due to the weather, these events are often held indoors. If the host organisation allows it, it’s essential to book your place to make sure you’re there!
Even if the programme varies rigorously from year to year, certain events in Rennes are recurrent (or tend to become so). These include nationally (and even internationally!) renowned gatherings. Whatever you fancy at the moment, you’re bound to find something to enjoy during your stay in Rennes.
Our selection of recurring events
Small in quantity, big in quality, our top picks are a good sample of Rennes’ annual programming. Throughout the year, the heart of Ille-et-Vilaine vibrates to the rhythm of numerous fairs and festivals. The city is fairly active on the artistic and cultural fronts. However, most of the events organised are new. We recommend that you find out about them in advance, and then some time before your stay, so that you don’t miss out on any of the highlights.
